I hope you all are finding ways to enjoy yourself during these "safer at home" days. 

I've had my fair share of extra time and am enjoying inking up some stamps I haven't used yet! 

This classic Happy Birthday to You stamp set is free with a sale-a- bration purchase through March 31.  

I made 2 cards with this set today... the first one pictured is so quick and easy. You could easily make a quick batch of these in a rainbow of color. 

I couldn't resist adding wink of stella to the flowers instead of adding a color. Some glitter ribbon from last year's sale-a-bration promotion was the perfect accent. 

It was a favorite of mine... so I stocked up with a roll, or two. I'm running low... but just luv it.

This second card uses paper from the same package of In-Color designer series paper. A funny thing happened... if you noticed one of the flowers is popped up with a dimensional. That happy little embellishment was the result of a BIG oops. I wanted to add just a bit of wink of stella to the flower centers. Well, my pen malfunctioned and leaked a big blob. 

As I pondered creating a whole new cake...I had the grand idea to make just one flower and add it to the cake. 

There are never mistakes on handmade cards; simply an opportunity to embellish!

I love this white on white color scheme. 

It makes the Calypso Coral Lily pop right off the card front...

with only a little bit of help from dimensionals!

Using the emboss resist technique:

1. Emboss the stamp image in white. 

2. Color the entire image, however, desired.

3. Finally use a tissue to wipe the ink off the white embossed areas.

(yes...the hardest of all supplies to find at this time, hehehe)

It's similar to wiping off a dry erase board - - the ink wipes easily from the embossed areas.

The Script Embossing Folder and Rhinestones, combined with die cut elements from the matching dies create this stunning card.

Would you believe this card is all stampin'?

Using the Stamp-A-Ratus makes it a cinch to create cards that have multiple steps.

The vases, flower stems, flower buds, scallop shelf, and "Birthday Wishes" sentiment were all lined up using the Stamp-A-Ratus.

How many steps is that?
Once the stamps are lined up on your paper - - it's just stamped 3 different times!

Stamp the image outlines in black. Stamp the colored vases. Stamp the yellow flower buds and scallop shelf.

The best part? If you miss a spot - - all you have to do is put the Stamp-A-Ratus plate right back down.

Whenever I cut pieces out using the dies.....

I sneak other dies onto the paper where ever there is room. 

So I snipped the cute accouterments that come with the Lily Pad dies 

and polished off the inside of my card with this perfect little one.

I attended a Stampin' UP! convention, quite a while ago, and when there we get to play with new items. We made a very similar card, but my demonstrator friend, Julie, stepped it up a bit to create this beauty!

Absolutely Gorgeous, wouldn't you agree??

Using the blends, the centers are colored with Flirty Flamingo and "blended" with Petal Pink to make the centers pop! After adding some bling with the new Champagne Rhinestones and we were done.

Until....

Don't forget to use your coordinating stamps to add that little bit of pizzazz to the inside.
