Ride With Me on the Waterfront

RIDE WITH ME
on the
WATERFRONT

I had so much fun making this little card!

I used the Ride with Me stamp set to create the truck. Then, I fussy cut and used the Pumpkin Pie Blends for color.

The Waterfront stamp set created the fun landscape in the background. I had a lot of fun mix and matching the stamps to create the tropical oasis....but it was certainly an adventure. This stamp set is completely EASY to put together and is so forgiving. By nature, you can use this set to build the scene and deepen and vary colors by stamping over different areas. It's really hard to ruin your card.

BUT...leave it to me. I must have been tired while stamping...because this was my fourth attempt. Not because the stamp is hard to use....but first I dropped the ink pad and had a big black line across the sky. My second attempt....I inked the wrong color and accidentally stamped bright, blue palm trees. Normally, I'd go with it and make a non traditional scene...but the palm trees were last...so it really didn't work. Of course, now I was annoyed with myself. One last try. Guess who had inky fingers!

So...I took a break. Took a walk. Cut the rest of the pieces to this card. And VOILA!

Are you ready to Ride with Me on the Waterfront??
Sorry...cheesy...I know. I couldn't resist.

And....a quick finished and polished inside, while all my supplies were still out on my table.
