HAVE - A - HOOT on Halloween

HAVE - A - HOOT

You know I love Halloween and I love a "cutesy" set....
so you know I had to play with the Have - A - Hoot stamp set!

Use your favorite blends and have fun coloring the little owls.
Highlight your favorite areas with a little bit of Wink of Stella and instant sparkle :)
This picture really shows where I added the Wink of Stella - - either I'm wasn't wearing my glasses or I didn't take enough time with photography....but the lighting really caught the bling!

Yes, I immediately fell in love with these little guys - - but when I noticed the dies
included this window template - - it was a must have!!!!
The coordinating die cuts this trio of perfectly placed windows!
 - - BONUS - -
The cut out window pieces make the cutest little tags!

Quick tip: Cut your dsp layer to the correct size before using the window die to center it easily.

Don't forget the inside of your card!

Did you notice the "Have a Hoot on Halloween" and this BOO!
both share a multi toned background??

A little bit ago, I was practicing creating sunsets on scrap paper
using sponges with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie.
They were a little "streaky" (I promise that's a word in my world!)
and I threw back in my scrap pile.

They caught my eye while I was making this card and realized - -
how great they would look as accent pieces instead of full card layers!

I even cut the little moon out of the scrap to add a little more definition.

What do you think??
